Rain Tree House is dedicated in its support of affordable and low-income housing, working in conjunction with private and quasi-government organizations. Housing seems to be at the crux of a lot of our issues. Especially for trans, disabled, and elderly people.

Why the name Rain Tree?

It's inspired by the trees around Tania’s house here in Denver. They're stunning trees & once the land the home sits on knew they were committed to taking care of the soil and the ecosystem, these trees thrived. Since finding a name that isn't already in use can be difficult, she figured why not name the non-profit after a tree that if you give it the slightest bit of nourishment flourishes—seemed like a good example of how to support people who need just a little helping hand, shelter in this case, and what some, most even, will do with that support.
